Aberdeen Airport (ABZ) is located seven miles northwest of the city centre, on the A96 near Dyce. It can also be reached by various forms of private and public transport. Public buses stop directly in front of the terminal, and nearby Dyce Railway Station operates an airport shuttle bus.

Rail

the nearest rail station to the airport is at Dyce, about four kilometres from the terminal and serviced by bus and taxi links. The Service 80 Dyce Airlink connects Dyce Railway Station with Aberdeen Airport (ABZ), the Heliport and Kirkhill Industrial Estate from Monday to Friday, 06:45 to 19:38.

Bus

regular buses run from the airport to Aberdeen city centre and other destinations. The journey to or from the airport to Aberdeen city centre takes around 30 minutes.

Taxi

services are available from outside the front of the terminal. By taxi a journey to the city centre takes about 25 minutes, while a journey to the nearest rail station, at Dyce, takes 5 to 10 minutes. This is the most expensive way to travel, however.
